Hot Time, Summer in the City

Summer is a hard time for the body; oppressive heat assails us and modern man’s answer to it, Air Conditioning, often chills us beyond the point we wish. How are we to find relief in this sweltering season of sizzle? Well, beverage centers will try to sell you their latest fad drinks and malls and movie theaters will attempt to lure you in with their climate control but here at Ego Friendly we have a different suggestion for how to beat the heat: Give in to your body.

When you begin to sweat, let yourself: sweating is your built-in cooling system. When the humidity is beating you down, drink some water (Smart, Vitamin or just plain tap).

Sense means getting in touch with your body, letting it appraise you of the sitatuiation and letting it take care of you with its own methods. When we begin to ignore the information our Sense gives us and rush around, thrusting ourselves into damagingly cold rooms or imbibing health-questionable beverages full of empty calories and way too much sugar we are, quite bluntly, abandoning our senses.
